3i think so
An article over at ArcWeb.com carries some reportage from 3i Infotech on that firm’s recent acquisitions of Formula Ware, Datacons, SDG Software and G4 Software Technologies. The latter three are India-based software companies, and ArcWeb sees this as “a clear signal about its business focus on the ERP market, albeit in the SMB segment.”
3i Infotech target market is the SMB segment requiring “ERP solutions that provide basic functions, such as inventory and finance with shorter cycles to implement and easy to use features.” 3i Infotech’s ERP product offerings are ORION Enterprise, ORION Advantage, and ORION Lite. 3i infotech has gained an eyebrow-raising market share in the Indian ERP market rather quickly and has already established a strong presence in the automotive, chemical and pharmaceuticals markets.
The piece also quotes ARC’s ERP India Outlook Study, which states that process industries make up 60 percent of the company’s ERP revenue.
3i Infotech is a Mumbai-based enterprise solution and service provider founded in 1999. 3i Infotech today serves over 500 customers in more than fifty countries on five continents, in verticals such as BFSI, automotive, chemical, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and retail and distribution.
