Officially, George is new CEO at QVC

Michael George has officially moved into the president / CEO position at QVC. After having served as CEO-elect and president for six months, George and industry players were surely not surprised to hear of the decision after former CEO Doug Briggs’ retirement.
George made his way up to the top of the QVC chain by developing the CRM capabilities and e-commerce at Dell Computers. George’s last position at that company was CMO.
With sales of $6.5 billion, QVC boasts broadcasting in four countries and 160 million homes with sales on the order of $6.5 billion. QVC ranks second among American networks in revenue.
When I arrived home from work yesterday I found my QVC bill with big red letters on the outside stating:
IMPORTANT: Late Fee Refminder Inside
This made it appear as if my payment was late which it wasn’t. Even though it was general information, I resented this very much and was shocked! I have written a letter to Michael George, President and CEO which I’m sure he will never read but one statement I can make loud and clear is CLOSE MY ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY. I’m very disapointed because even if MY PAYMENT was late, this is private and not for the whole world to see. Our American freedoms are eroding one by one and you are helping that to happen!
Dear Mr. Michael George,
I recently ordered an item to be sent to Molly Chapman and Lew Largent. When I received my confirmation it read Molly and Lew Chapman Largen, What a mixed up MESS! I replied and asked that it be corrected and was put off and told to call a certain number the NEXT day! I’ve been a very good customer over the years! I’m very disappointed in QVC. I’m going to be embarassed when they receive what was supposed to be a pleasant surprise! You’ve just lost a good customer. Phyllis Marcus
Jane Fonda cancellation.
I am not happy that you would let Jane Fonda’s politics affect her appearence on the show to sell her book.
I lived thru the Vietnam was period and many people were opposed to the war. I am not a conservation or liberal but an independent and this will affect my view of your channel.
I will buy less from you in the future as a result.
