Hitachi chooses Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0

It is always good, Microsoft executives would no doubt agree to be looked upon favorably from the Pacific Rim. Today Microsoft announced the support for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 by business and IT consulting company Hitachi Consulting. Hitachi Consulting is a wing of mammoth Hitachi, Ltd.

To teaming up was little surprise: Earlier in the year, Microsoft had bestowed Hitachi Consulting Gold Certified status in the Microsoft Partner Program by demonstrating competencies in Advanced Infrastructure, Business Intelligence, Business Process and Integration, Custom Development and Information Worker Solutions. “We view Microsoft as a strategic partner in the marketplace and are pleased to announce our support and services for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 product,” announced Microsoft alliance director for Hitachi Consulting Brian Biglin. Hitachi Consulting has over hundred dedicated and trained Microsoft professionals; Hitachi Consulting North American offices sit in Dallas, Houston, Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Orange, Boston and Atlanta.

Hitachi Consulting qualified for the Gartner Magic Quadrant for North America CRM Service Providers in 2005 and 2006. With offices in the U.S., Japan, and Europe, Hitachi Consulting boasts a client base that includes over one-third of the Fortune 100 and one-quarter percent of the Global 100. Tokyo, Japan-headquarterd Hitachi, Ltd. is a global electronics company with approximately 356,000 employees worldwide. Fiscal 2005 consolidated sales totaled 9.464 trillion yen (or US $80.9 billion).
