New product from Composite

San Mateo, Calif.-based Composite Software is chasing up its recently released pre-built data services for SAP and Siebel, adding to the line its composite application views for Oracle and Salesforce.com. With the systems, customers are promised the ability to bring forward Oracle E-Business Suite, Salesforce.com and other systems into a service-oriented environment in the hopes of accelerating dashboard, single-view, ad-hoc reporting, and service-oriented architecture (SOA) projects.

Composite application views consist of hundreds of pre-built data services for key business information, presenting business data in legacy applications in the form of web services via Composite’s information server, Application Views. Composite application views are designed to leverage the security rules and business logic of each source application. Composite application views are mainly used in call center applications requiring Siebel and / or Salesforce.com data, inventory visibility systems requiring SAP and / or Oracle E-Business Suite data, and pharmaceutical drug discovery research and development.
