Intelliworks schools ‘em
Like a good student with higher education CRM solutions provider Intelliworks Inc. spent many hours in school this summer, but the firm wears no dunce cap. While students off and party, Intelliworks salespeople have been hustling to get that campus CRM dollar. Inside of one week, Intelliworks PR was able to sing success three times with the addition of new contracts. Most recently, Intelliworks representatives announced that the Oklahoma State University Spears School of Business had selected Intelliworks iRM Essentials as CRM to support growth and strategic constituent communications initiatives for graduate programs. At base, OSU will leverage iRM Essentials product to strategically target prospects for their five masters programs and two Ph.D. programs.
The reported objective is “to align the product, message, and offer in a personalized manner with key prospects using refined segmentation and targeting technologies combined with marketing execution campaigns that will drive meaningful relationships.” The day previous, Fordham University jumped on board the USS Intelliworks CRM, seeking to use Intelliworks iRM Enterprise to manage and unify relationship-building activities across the entire university. At Fordham, implementation of iRM Enterprise is aimed at increasing effectiveness in recruitment and retention efforts across undergraduate and graduate programs. Fordham brass cited iRM territory management, event management, flexible integration, and targeted analytics as key to fulfilling that university’s CRM needs.
In the future, Fordham plans to create a unified view of constituents and relationships in iRM, creating a platform that will be integrated with their SCT Banner system. The first deal Intelliworks sealed with higher ed this summer was last week. New College of California then selected Intelliworks to “take itself to a new level by leveraging best practices around recruiting, admissions, communications and several key operational processes.” With iRM implemented, New College hopes to have enabled features such as conversion of best inquiries into students; increase the effectiveness of constituent marketing initiatives; improve the relevance of alumni dialogue with personalized communication; achievement of a unified view of constituent data; and elimination of inefficient information silos. New College of California, located in San Francisco, Santa Rosa, Emeryville and Los Angeles, is an accredited university offering both BA and MA programs in a number of areas. New College also offers an accredited law school, reportedly the oldest public-interest law school in the United States, a graduate school of psychology, a science institute and a teaching credential program. Oklahoma State University bills itself as a “multi-campus public land grant educational system.”
The instructional mission includes undergraduate, graduate, technical, extension, and continuing education informed by scholarship and research. Intelliworks, Inc. seeks to enable colleges and universities to raise relationship capital by providing insight-driven, actionable CRM solutions tailored specifically for the higher education industry. The insight provided into building relationships with prospects, students, and alumni theoretically enables institutions to communicate with their key constituents in a more personalized and relevant manner.
Among Intelliworks solutions clients are Duke, Columbia, Harvard Business School, University of Oklahoma, UC Berkeley, Dartmouth, Wharton, and Georgia. Intelliworks’ web-based application can be implemented at a department, school-wide, or university level. Intelliworks hocks Intelliworks Relationship Manager as its flagship CRM technology suite. iRM is produced as iRM Essentials for small- and mid-sized organizations; and iRM Enterprise is designed for larger university implementation projects that require greater performance, configuration, and scalability.
