Maximer goes to war with Sage
In what at least one press release is calling a “war,” CRM solutions provider Maximizer has announced a “number of product enhancements and special offers,” company officials say, aimed at “providing small businesses with a superior alternative to Sage Software’s popular contact management product ACT! 2007.”
Flagship product Maximizer 9 now includes MaxMobile for the Windows Mobile platform for customer data access via devices such as the Palm Treo 700w, Dell Axim X51 series and the HP iPAQ. With this remote connectivity, users can interact with their Maximizer address book, calendar, hotlist, notes and user fields. Maximizer information theoretically can also be accessed on the Palm OS, Windows Mobile OS or Research In Motion BlackBerry devices through two-way Outlook synchronisation. Maximizer 9 currently offers templates for real estate, financial services, high technology, legal services, professional sales, and home offices.
Maximizer Software Inc. has a catalogue of over 7,500 Maximizer Enterprise customers and over one million Maximizer users now use Maximizer solutions. The firm has offices in its three regions of the Americas; Europe/Middle East/Africa; and the Asian Pacific. Maximizer clientele includes Siemens, Ipsos-Reid, Nestle Clinical, Ericsson, HSBC, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, William Mercer, and Bank of New York.
