A lovely sonata

Representatives of Sonata Software Ltd have announced that Sonata Information Technology Ltd, in association with Microsoft India Pvt Ltd, has launched Microsoft Dynamics. Microsoft Dynamics is the big boys’ range of solutions in enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management solutions from Microsoft. Quite a score for Sonata, then.

Sonata introduced Microsoft Dynamics to companies at a special seminar in Bangalore on Friday, a seminar which focused on how Microsoft Dynamics’ potential to “empower organizations, drive business success and build a competitive edge.” In other words, it seems, to get the product you had to hear the spiel.

Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM applications are designed to integrate with Microsoft core products such as Office and Windows to essentially cover processes across the organization. Microsoft introduced Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 for the Indian market last year.

The choice of Sonata by Microsoft was no big surprise, as last week ol’ Oracle named Sonata “Best Value Added Distributor in Asia Pacific’’ of the year. The award was given at Oracle Executive Partner meet in Vietnam.

Sonata is an IT consulting and software services company featuring products and services in ERP and CRM implementation and management; business intelligence, specifically in data warehousing and business scorecards; portal solutions; application development and management; application integration; and infrastructure management. Sonata now boasts over 100 ERP/CRM installations and has been a Microsoft partner for fifteen years.
