A Skoda test drive

Skoda UK representatives, surely relishing the use of the expression, announced its first real-time UK “test drive” campaign using the PDA-based application OnTAAP DataCapture. DataCapture is a mobile electronic data capture product using GPRS or WiFi to communicate with back-end systems and databases. Skoda dealt with promotional agency MMM Group and Skoda’s CRM agency Navigator in the test drive. TAAP tailored and implemented the PDA-based application to capture data in real-time via GPRS. Specifically, the test involves that every person who test drove a Skoda receive follow-up within five days. Input included basic demographics and buying indicators.
