Another Real Metric
Wichita, Kansas-based RealMetrics, LLC, a producer of performance metrics based on systematic testing of online service providers, representatives closed out their work week with the announcement of the addition of a new metric for performance monitoring. Said metric seeks to measure the performance of technical support response time for shared hosting and VPS hosting providers.
RealMetrics adds the new barometer to their extant catalogue of monitoring and reporting, which now includes uptime, web speed, CPU speed, and disk speed in addition to the technical support response time. The RealMetrics process is driven by establishing actual hosting accounts and then conducting systematic tests on several parameters of online service.
RealMetrics today conducts over 60,000 tests per day on actual web hosting accounts. In future, RealMetrics has plan to roll out performance monitoring technologies across into categories such as email service providers, online backups, web conferencing and CRM solutions.
