Answering the Carphone
NetSuite, Inc. representatives today announced that Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse has selected NetSuite CRM+. Business Solutions from The Carphone Warehouse has licensed 400 user seats and will implement NetSuite in three phases starting with SFA for prospecting, opportunity management and booking orders; marketing automation for executing targeted campaigns; and customer support and service for all business users of Carphone Warehouse Business Solutions.
The Carphone Warehouse brain trust reportedly chose NetSuite in light of the positive results reported by sister company Opal Telecom, which had earlier implemented NetSuite product. Opal implemented NetSuite in a phased approach about one year ago with CRM+ features including order management, partner relationship management and expense reporting. The Carphone Warehouse was established in 1989 and is today Europe’s leading mobile communications retailer, with an annual turnover of £2.355 billion (approximately US $4.333 billion). The company operates across ten markets and employs over 12,000.
The Carphone Warehouse is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Carphone Warehouse Group, a UK FTSE 250 company of £3 billion (approximately US $5 billion). NetSuite, Inc. is billed as the leader in on-demand business software suites and the fastest-growing software company in North America, according to the Deloitte Fast 500 study. NetSuite seeks to enable management of accounting, enterprise resource planning, CRM, and e-commerce.
