Arriba, Deacom!
Deacom, Inc. representatives today announced that La Tortilla Factory, headquartered in Santa Rosa, Calif., has chosen the DEACOM accounting and enterprise resource planning software system to integrate the entirety of its food manufacturing operations. La Tortilla Factory will employ the DEACOM ERP software system in controlling inventory levels, accessing sales order information online, managing formulas, and reducing existing manual processes such as EDI order imports and customer relationship management.
Echoing a familiar problem in the biz, La Tortilla Factory CFO Stan Mead said, “With all the growth in the past few years, our manual process control systems have become cumbersome and not very cost effective.” Mead went on the state that DEACOM was “needed” across the board at poor La Tortilla, to improve and automate process control in sales, purchasing, inventory, lot tracking, and accounting. The DEACOM ERP system is set to achieve full implementation by September of 2006.
Headquartered in Wayne, Penn., Deacom, Inc. is the producer of DEACOM, a complete accounting and ERP system for building component, process, and mixed-mode manufacturers. The DEACOM seeks to link all departments within a manufacturing company, providing a comprehensive view of the entire operation. Of Santa Rosa, Calif.-based La Tortilla Factory, all we need do is quote their most notable achievement: becoming the first bakery to introduce fat-free and low-carb tortillas to the United States market.
