Big merger by Biggs and co.

From Oceania comes news of an interesting fairly large-scale merger between New Zealand CRM giant Complete Solutions and enterprise resource planning specialist Datagroup. The names, too, have been merged to form the new firm Complete Solutions DG. The merger, according the press information, is the latest in companies seek specifically to, in the words of Complete Solutions DG CEO John Biggs, “take advantage of growth in the integration of CRM and ERP.” On reassuring customers and employees of the company’s stability, Biggs said, “A lot of it is in how you address a merger. From my view it is two companies coming together and the challenge for us is to get a culture going.” Biggs was also quoted as saying, “We have to retain the loyalty of our staff and customers but I don’t see that as a hassle. [The merger] allows us to go vertical with some of the offerings we have and we can continue to build on the skill level and knowledge of these technologies.”
