CDC Software finalizes agreement for c360 purchase
CDC Corporation subsidiary CDC Software, an enterprise software applications provider, today announced the signing of the definitive agreement to purchase c360. c360 is a global provider of CRM extensions, solutions and development tools. With 450 authorized partners to its credit, c360 is a privately-held company with over 1,000 customers. Microsoft Dynamics gave c360 the nod as its Independent Software Vendor Partner Choice for 2005.
Under the auspices of CDC Software, c360 will function as an autonomous business entity concentrating efforts on certain add-ons for Microsoft CRM. c360 has built a reputation for its devotion to innovative plug-and-play applications for Microsoft .NET technology, and promises to continue to do so post-acquisition.
“The addition of c360 allows us to serve more market segments, building upon our CRM knowledge and expertise and strengthening our relationship with Microsoft,” said CDC Software chief technology officer and executive vice president of corporate strategy for Eric Musser.
c360 targets organizations that have deployed Microsoft Dynamics CRM. CDC Software’s strategy of appealing to mid-to-large organizations within financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and home building industries fits perfectly with the c360 market.
“Maintaining and expanding our position as a leading provider of industry-specific CRM solutions is a key strategy for CDC Software,” stated Musser. “Our continuing success with Pivotal CRM; our pending acquisition of c360; and our other highly complementary acquisition targets provide clear evidence of our commitment and capabilities in the CRM market space.”
