Representatives of OpSource have announced today that ClearMeeting will be using Optimal On-Demand to offer Software as a Service as the sole delivery option for its customers.
OpSource Optimal On-Demand is a turnkey, scalable service delivery solution built on OpSource’s OptiTech Services Engine platform. Optimal On-Demand includes hardware and network infrastructure, managed services, and application management. OpSource’s current roster of AppExchange partners include leading vendors such as Shade Tree Technology, Visual Mining, Spoke, Marketing Advocate, Business Objects, Soapbox Mobile, and Ambient Software.
ClearMeeting is an on-demand tool for adding visual and interactive elements to “traditional” (and isn’t it interesting that we call it thusly; the 21st century has arrived) telephone conference calls. ClearMeeting Express edition is specialized for sales and marketing professionals. ClearMeeting complete is to be offered “first quarter 2007” and is tailored for small- to mid-sized businesses.
Also noteworthy is that the ClearMeeting Express edition now includes changes designed for Salesforce.com users in anticipation of the product’s debut on Salesforce.com’s AppExchange in early 2007. ClearMeeting Express edition is sold on a per-presenter basis and is available for purchase via online signup at clearmeeting.com. ClearMeeting is a division of privately held AudioCast Inc., a producer of database-driven streaming media products and corporate online communication systems founded in 1997.
