Decent Proposal
This week, Proposal Software, Inc. CEO John A. Laurino took it upon himself to announce to press that the firm’s Spartanly-named Proposal Management and Production System (or PMAPS) is now integrated with LexisNexis InterAction client relationship management software.
Synchronizing access to InterAction software with PMAPS, the data organized within InterAction can be directly accessed from within the PMAPS platform; the product is plugged for legal firm proposal teams “who must continually respond to RFPs and prepare proposals in order to support the firm’s new business objectives.”
LexisNexis vice president John McDonnell testified that “InterAction is the leading CRM solution for law firms,” and stated that InterAction was in use at 80 percent of the US’ largest law firms and 30 percent of those in the United Kingdom.
While the story itself may not be intensely interesting, one can’t help but notice a distinct lack of irony in TMCNet’s reportage entitled “Lexis for Law Firm CRM Chosen by Law Firm.” Is it me?
Westport, Conn.-based Proposal Software, Inc. boasts a clientele which includes financial services, healthcare, investment management and Fortune 1000 corporations such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, ING Investment Management, BlackRock, Baring Asset Management, AAM-Investment Management, Fred Alger Management, and WellPoint healthcare companies.
