Norway’s Fokus Bank has announced an agreement with CRM vendor 24SevenOffice and Norwegian payroll processor Bluegarden to develop a web-banking system that includes CRM, payroll and accounting applications and can serve as the back-office administrative hub for businesses.

The internet banking system is designed for small- and mid-sized enterprises and allows users to access ERP, payroll and accounting applications via a single interface.

Fokus Bank director Morten Bjornsen, showing a fine grip on American slang, stated that "By partnering with 24SevenOffice, we have raised the bar for what is possible through the internet." Speaking more financially and less colloquially, Oslo-based 24SevenOffice figures the system will reach Fokus Bank’s existing 200,000 customers in Norway and possibly pave the way for growth with Fokus’ parent company, Danske Bank.
