Representatives of Wilmington, Mass.-based Visibility have announced the selection of Visibility.net ERP by Lancaster, Pa.-based Genesys Controls Corporation. Genesys is a manufacturer of industrial control systems, control panels and custom microelectronics. VISIBILITY.net has promises improved business integration through the entire business cycle. Indeed, the agreement calls for comprehensive use of business functions required by the engineering department to accommodate intensive made-to-order and project-based business procedures.

Genesys Controls expects to go live in July 2006. With VISIBILITY.NET, native use of the .NET architecture and object-oriented technology is promised to be easily integrated by communication with XML web services. Visibility pushes its project by stating that “the very core of the VISIBILITY.NET application makes use of this technology today, without the need for additional middleware or integration applications.” What VISIBILITY.NET does in simpler terms is provide a common user interface, an integrated platform and a single software technology.

The browser-based solution involves .NET-based web services for use with either a Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle database. Visibility Corporation is a business software solutions developer and supplier, specializing in customizing to project-based, engineer-to-order and to-order manufacturers. Visibility’s Enterprise Application solutions are the flagship and are designed for help mid-sized manufacturers of “complex products.”
