Happy World Usability Day!
Entellium representatives today announced the firm is now taking pre-orders for Rave CRM, their “cutting-edge on-demand sales optimization solution geared toward helping independent sales professionals and small businesses sell more effectively.”
Interestingly enough, the announcement was specifically planned for November 14th, known by some as World Usability Day. Paul Johnston, CEO and President of Entellium, loftily stated that “Our goal with Rave is to remaster CRM around delighting the sales rep by putting their success front and center in our design.”
Rave is a “smart client” application built on Entellium’s award-winning on-demand workflow engine. Company PR literally says “Goodbye, boring business software” with the introduction of the product, promising CRM which is “a complete sales productivity solution that features a rich, visually immersive user interface powered by Sparkle.” Sparkle is Entellium’s UI platform.
Rave CRM is available by subscription at a list price of $400 per user per year. Pre-order subscribers will receive a 50 percent discount on their second year of service. Rave will also be available for free trial to the public on www.RaveCRM.com beginning December 4th.
World Usability Day is an initiative of the Usability Professionals Association. (There is truly an association for everyone in the 21st century, some not even virtual.) According to the World Usability Day Charter, the day is to “[bring] together communities of professional, industrial, educational, citizen and governmental groups for our common objective: to ensure that technology helps people live to their full potential and helps create a better world for all citizens everywhere.”
