Hitting the road
Kintera Inc. and Microsoft, have announced an eight-city roadshow to kick off on Monday, on a mission to “educate organizations about how social constituent relationship management on a software as a service platform can impact fundraising efforts and constituent relationships.”
The educational seminars carry no admission charge, and will serve as a showcase for Kintera / Microsoft products. Kintera’s social CRM system was launched at the Association for Fundraising Professionals Conference in early April. To be held at Microsoft facilities, the social CRM roadshow will visit Boston, New York, Washington, Chicago, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta and will feature Kintera donor management general manager David Lawson. Lawson is also co-founder of the WOW! Institute, co-founder of P!N, and a CASE Steuben Apple Award recipient.
Online solutions provider Kintera Inc. seeks to help nonprofit organizations deliver what folks in the company call “The Giving Experience,” essentially a buzzword for providing convenience, financial transparency and feedback. Kintera now boasts over 15,000 accounts in the nonprofit, government and corporate sectors for their SaaS programs, highlighted by the Friends Asking Friends fundraising program and Kintera Sphere, an enterprise-grade software platform that provides a secure, scaleable and reliable system for CRM, a web content management system, eMarketing and directed giving applications.
