Watch out Hoovers! InsideView, provider of sales intelligence applications, has raised $11.5 million in Series B funding. The enterprise is currently backed by Emergence Capital Partners, Rembrandt Venture Partners and Greenhouse Capital Partners, bringing the total funding to $25 million.
SalesView, which is the company’s flagship product, is able to crawl through more than 20,000 web sites and databases including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Hoovers, Reuters, and SEC filings, to give businesses important sales information and help throughout the sales process.
SalesView is available as a stand-alone application and with a mash-up integration with CRM vendors like SugarCRM, Microsoft Dynamic CRM, NetSuite CRM, Oracle CRM On Demand, Landslide and Salesforce.com. SalesView has over 26,000 users and is visible to 2,000 companies’ news feeds, including Ariba, Centive and Cisco/WebEx.
SalesView is helping to bridge the gap between sales and Sales 2.0, by integrating social data with traditional business information. The intuitive application also boasts the ability to optimize usability by automatically identifying valuable events and connections, and accelerating the sales cycle.
InsideView announced that the financial backing will be used towards customer generation and product development. Blog CRM is excited to see what lies ahead for the sales intelligence vendor.
