Is that a Hot Banana in your pocket or…?
Hot Banana Software Inc. which, due to its outlandish name will always get coverage on CRMchump, has announced that the launch of its Version 5.5. The content management system promises to have integrated “website optimization and marketing automation features” and consolidated all the capabilities from Hot Banana’s formerly optional Active Marketing Suite.
Not only is this a swell new product, the Hot Banana folks have put their money where their tropical fruit is, relaunching its own corporate website using 5.5.
Hot Banana also announced “significant changes to its SaaS and licensed pricing, with a focus on small- to mid-sized marketers.” The new pricing structure features a three-tier model with one to five, six to 25, and unlimited users. Hosted offering Hot Banana SaaS starts at only $329 per month, while Hot Banana licensed software starts at $4,999. The top of the line package runs $27,999.
Hot Banana general manager Krista LaRiviere proclaimed that “Hot Banana is throwing down the gauntlet and claiming the mid-market Web content management space.”
Gotta love the gauntlet throwing.
Headquartered in Barrie, Ontario, with a US office in Menlo Park, Calif., Hot Banana is a subsidiary of J.L. Halsey Corporation, a provider of technology solutions for mid-size marketers.
