Jacobsons celebrates two decades in Dubai
At its Dubai headquarters, Jacobsons Direct Marketing Services recently celebrated its twentieth year of existence. Representing some five million-plus database records, Jacobsons is the largest CRM and Direct Marketing provider in the Middle East.
The direct marketing industry itself is said to growing exponentially in the Middle East, with particular change coming to the United Arab Emirates. Jacobsons is well poised to take serious advantage of such growth. Indeed, U.S. Direct Marketing Association experts have forecasted revenues to surpass $81 billion this year; compare this figure with the $31.4 billion amassed in 2001 and $28 billion the following year. Direct marketing is all about quantifiable, proven response.
The Direct Marketing Association USA, of which Jacobsons is a member, has reported that it expects interactive/e-commerce revenues to reach $81.1b by 2006. Jacobsons Direct Marketing Services LLC marketing director George Jacob is confident that his company can take advantage of direct marketing in the burgeoning multi-channel marketing of the Middle East region.
