Karnik in concord with Choridant

Cupertino, Calif.-based Chordiant Software, Inc. announced a key hire today in Prashant K. Karnik, who was named company vice president / general manager of professional services. Karnik will be responsible for worldwide customer delivery and implementation and will reports to CEO / President Steven R. Springsteel.

Karnik comes to Chordiant with 25 years of experience amassed in the technology and enterprise software markets, including stints as CEO of Datanautics (a.k.a. Accrue Software), vice president of professional services at CRM and call center vendor Aspect Communications, and various senior management positions at Hewlett-Packard.

Karnik holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT India, an MS in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University, and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
