M-Tech in Quebec

Meanwhile, identity management solutions provider M-Tech Information Technology Inc. announced the opening of a major technology office in Montreal. M-Tech representatives credited “significant growth” in the company’s niche management as a primary reason in the opportunity for expansion.

Though announced as open in March 2006, the Montreal technology office only became fully operational today to start the week off. Fifteen staff members have been hired and trained, and M-Tech interests have claimed that Quebec’s office should be employing over fifty by the end of next year. This is quite a claim, for not only would this represent a huge increase in staff proportionally, it would actually make M-Tech one of the single largest identity management deployment services organizations.

As for the future, M-Tech believes the Montreal office will enable M-Tech to extend services to customers across Canada, pointing out that M-Tech has already integrated the Montreal office as a virtual extension to its Calgary-based services group. The M-Tech Identity Management Suite includes ID Synch for user provisioning, P-Synch for password management, ID Certify for regulatory compliance, ID Access for self-service resource access, ID Telephony for telephone password reset and ID Discover for account cleansing and reconciliation.
