NeuStar finds partners

Representatives of NeuStar, Inc. today announced the expansion of its SIP-IX Industry Alliance Program. Seven service provider and technology partners were added to program which seeks to provide interoperability with SIP-IX.

Newly added partners include AcmePacket, BroadSoft, iBasis, NexTone, Sonus, Sylantro, and XO Communications. The group is rounded out by technology / IXP partners Equinix and Telehouse, and technology partners Ceon, JacobsRimell, Incognito, and Nominum.

SIP-IX is suite of services designed to enable direct network-to-network peering, with a standards-based, cross-domain registry service. SIP-IX provides groundwork for service providers and carriers to deploy all-IP services such as voice, video and instant messaging.

NeuStar is a provider of clearinghouse services to the North American communications industry and internet service providers worldwide.
