New shining light at LiteScape
VoIP application provider LiteScape Technologies, Inc. today announced that telecommunications industry leader and former AT&T executive (and / or, as in press material, “technology visionary”) Hossein Eslambolchi will join its board of directors. This addition to the leadership team highlights LiteScape’s momentum as the company’s Eslambolchi brings a resume comprising both executive leadership and hands-on development of IP and broadband technologies.
He comes to LiteScape Technologies from AT&T, where he served as CTO, CIO and president of AT&T Labs and Global Network Technology Services. LiteScape touts Eslambochi’s quote of “early on,” when he stated that IP would “eat everything.” Eslambochi later became a driving force behind architecture allowing all services to run on IP and on any device. Today, he holds over 750 worldwide patents. Eslambolchi’s chest is heavy with medals as well, having received appointment as an AT&T Fellow, the New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame Inventor of the Year Award, the Thomas Alva Edison award for “Strategically Significant Patent,” and the AT&T Labs Science and Technology Medal.
Eslambolchi spoke of his appointment in grand terms: “I have seen how their solutions have a direct impact on bottom line business. Now with rapid change at hand in the telecom market, this is a great opportunity to utilize my technical and industry knowledge to help LiteScape continue its global expansion and partnership with industry players.” Redwood Shores, Calif.-based LiteScape offers IP-based network technology seeking to ensure secure, personalized collaboration and communication.
By telephones with interactive voice, text and image capabilities, LiteScape promises to improve business processes, employee productivity and the customer experience. LiteScape value-added resellers and strategic partners include Bell Canada, Cisco, and Avaya.
