Movicel will deploy Amdocs for real-time charging and service delivery to support its growing code division multiple access (CDMA) operations, and to establish a foundation for offering 3G services. The Amdocs solution will also enable Movicel to quickly introduce new, value-added, prepaid and postpaid services and promotions across any network.
A next-generation, intelligent network (IN)-based solution, Amdocs Compact Convergence includes network connectivity modules and can be rapidly deployed or expanded to interface with multiple networks. The solution’s low maintenance and operational costs will enable Movicel to reduce its total cost of ownership.
