GuestWare finalizes upgrade with major management company

Diversified Computer Corp. (DCC) and Washington-based Marriott International have finalized an agreement to upgrade Marriott properties that use GuestWare to the latest version of DCC’s customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Diversified Computer Corp. (DCC) and Washington-based Marriott International have finalized an agreement to upgrade Marriott properties that use GuestWare to the latest version of DCC’s customer relationship management (CRM) software. Marriott properties will upgrade to GuestWare 3.0 to replace version 2.0 currently installed in over 450 properties.

The hotels will receive the software upgrade as part of an enhanced software maintenance plan that will increase guest service delivery while improving operational efficiency. The GuestWare 3.0 upgrades are proceeding in conjunction with the rollout of Marriott’s At Your Service (AYS) program, which replaces traditional hotel PBX departments with highly trained guest service agents. GuestWare 3.0 and AYS are also a current standard for newly opened Marriott Hotels, Resorts and Suites properties.

GuestWare allows AYS agents to dispatch guest requests and maintenance issues via a two-way wireless messaging system. AYS runners and hotel engineers can close out calls through the same two-way system. The software also enables hotel associates to access guest history through the integrated CRM system.
