Parature Names Benjamin Martin Director of Sales
Reston, VA (March 18, 2003) – Parature, Inc., an innovator of online support software, today announced that Ben Martin has been named director of sales. In the newly-created position, Martin will oversee Parature’s sales and business development activities within the commercial sector.
Martin comes to Parature from The Morino Institute’s Netpreneur Program, an organization dedicated to helping Greater Washington entrepreneurs grow their businesses. During his four years as Director of Investor Services with Netpreneur, Martin worked with investors and entrepreneurs to identify early-stage funding opportunities within the Mid-Atlantic region.
“Ben knows what it takes to win customers and grow revenue,” said Duke Chung, CEO of Parature. “In addition to sales savvy, he brings critical experience in financial forecasting and growth strategy for emerging companies. Ben will play an important role in the next phase of Parature’s development.”
Prior to his time with Netpreneur, Martin spent over five years as a technology analyst with the Advanced Technology Department of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the world’s largest scientific society with over 163,000 members. Martin began his tenure with ACS as a financial analyst. He holds an MBA in Corporate Finance and an MS in Information Systems from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
