Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems, today announced that Sonaecom, a leading Portuguese service provider, has expanded its use of Amdocs Cramer OSS (operations support systems) for fulfillment and resource management. Amdocs Cramer OSS is supporting Sonaecom’s xDSL (Digital Subscriber Line) and FTTH (Fiber To The Home) networks.
Sonaecom has deployed Amdocs Cramer OSS to gain complete visibility over its network assets, enabling it to accurately identify which assets are being deployed for which services, and for which customers. As a result, Sonaecom can allocate network resources and run service fulfillment processes more efficiently, and thereby receive more value from its network assets. In addition, Sonaecom has deployed Amdocs Cramer OSS in a Linux environment to reduce the ongoing costs of its operations.
