Sage Nonprofit Solutions VP Grant Howe To Present an NTEN

Austin , TX (August 03, 2009) – Sage North America announced today that Grant Howe, vice president (VP) of research & development for its Nonprofit Solutions business, will present a session on hosted solutions as part of NTEN’s ‘Best of NTC’ Webinar series at 2:00 p.m. EDT on Thursday, August 6. Howe previously presented on the same topic at NTEN’s 2009 Nonprofit Technology Conference (NTC) last April. Sage is committed to giving back to the nonprofit community through education.

In “Going Remote: What You Need To Know,” Howe will present information about popular remote access models, including self-hosting, co-location, and ASPs. Issues around general security, HIPAA, PCI, SAS 70 and protecting personal information, in relation to the different hosting options, will be discussed. Attendees will gain knowledge about methodology and practical tips, such as how to evaluate which option is best for their organization, and how to start an implementation project.
