Salesforce.com Appoints Jeff Lautenbach as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Commercial Sales, Americas
SAN FRANCISCO (February 04, 2011) – Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM), the enterprise cloud computing (http://www.salesforce.com/cloudcomputing/) company, is demonstrating the continued expansion of its strategic leadership team with the appointment of Jeff Lautenbach as senior vice president of enterprise commercial sales, Americas.
At salesforce.com, Lautenbach reports to Hilarie Koplow-McAdams, executive vice president of sales, salesforce.com. In his new role, Lautenbach will lead salesforce.com in its efforts to bring the power of cloud computing to large enterprises.

- Lautenbach joins salesforce.com following a distinguished 20-year career at IBM. Most recently, he was responsible for its software business in the Western part of the U.S. where he led an organization of more than 1,000 professionals with software sales, technical, and architecture responsibilities focused on selling to the largest enterprises in the U.S. market.
- Lautenbach earned a B.A. in Marketing from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and a MBA from the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois.
