CUPERTINO, Calif (April 22, 2008) –

SugarCRM, the world’s leading provider of commercial open source customer relationship management (CRM) software, today announced a new reseller partnership with BT. As part of this new alliance, BT, the UK’s leading communications provider, will offer its 1.2 million business customers SugarCRM’s commercial software solutions.

SugarCRM offers a robust, web-based interaction management platform, well suited for companies of all sizes in any industry. Matched with BT’s industry-leading telephony and other communications solutions, businesses gain a number of competitive advantages, including:

* Visibility into their sales pipeline, with deep reporting and forecasting features.
* A closed loop between sales and marketing teams with strong, yet simple to use marketing automation tools.
* The ability to increase customer satisfaction through industry-leading customer service and support tools.

“We have looked across the market and developed this partnership to meet the needs we know our customers have,” said Bill Murphy, managing director at BT Business. “This partnership builds on the work we’ve done to date and allows us to deliver a tailored approach for customers, so they get exactly what they need to manage their customer relationships, examine processes, deliver efficiencies and ultimately drive their business – all from a single supplier they trust”

Added Murphy, “With this announcement we really are changing the way small and medium-sized businesses can think about and buy their business applications, delivering them the benefits of services previously available only to larger companies.”

BT will be offering its customers the full array of SugarCRM software solutions. The offerings include Sugar Professional as well as Sugar Enterprise. Both of these software solutions are available as traditional On-Site deployments, or delivered over the web via the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model.

“The combination of BT’s incredible reach in the UK market and SugarCRM’s industry-leading CRM solutions makes this a perfect partnership for the UK market,” said John Roberts, CEO of SugarCRM. “This alliance strengthens our global reach and further exhibits SugarCRM’s momentum as a global provider of business applications.”
