Tilcon New York Adopting Cloud-Based CRM From Sage North America
Castle CRM implements Sage SalesLogix Cloud for construction material distributor
Scottsdale , AZ (April 28, 2010) – Sage North America, a provider of business management software and services to more than three million small and midsized businesses in Canada and the United States, today announced Tilcon New York as a new Sage SalesLogix Cloud customer. Castle CRM, a Sage CRM Solutions business partner, assisted Tilcon with implementation of the cloud computing based, on-demand customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Tilcon (www.tilconny.com), a distributor of crushed stone and asphalt for the construction industry, is initially using Sage SalesLogix Cloud to automate a green marketing initiative transitioning customers from paper to electronic communications and invoices. Tilcon chose Sage SalesLogix Cloud after comparing it with Salesforce.com and other Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) CRM systems.
“Castle CRM helped us navigate deployment obstacles,” explained Hal Skelley, Tilcon inside sales manager. “The economy, slowing activity within the construction industry and reorganization of company IT resources had stalled our original Sage SalesLogix implementation plans. When Castle CRM detailed the benefits of cloud computing and introduced Sage SalesLogix Cloud as an alternative path we knew we found the ideal solution to go forward with.”
Tilcon, a participant in the Sage SalesLogix Cloud pilot program, is working with Castle CRM to further integrate Sage SalesLogix Cloud with its sales administration, forecasting, credit management and customer service processes.
“We have grown through acquisition and have various sales processes that need to be consolidated through CRM, ensuring all employees and customers are working on the same page,” adds Skelley. “Sage SalesLogix Cloud is our method for bringing islands of information together and easily sharing relevant data with all Tilcon offices needing it.”
