Online matchmaking for businesses

Representatives of Voice Commerce Group have announced the development of an integrated desktop solution that seeks to assist businesses in advertising, communicating and trading with one another in a fashion similar to “a B2B equivalent of Match.com.” the Voice Commerce solution goes by the moniker On Instant.

Via On Instant preference engines, business owners are able to pre-select areas of interest in order to automatically receive and/or generate business opportunities. Voice Commerce Group president Nick Ogden explains that "Internet search is fine, if the information that you are looking for has been published. In the business marketplace, however, many items are very specific and whilst search terms can identify an area, it always takes a human interaction … On Instant provides is an integrated solution that helps business find what they need…”

In beta testing, some 1500 companies have signed up with On Instant and over 2 million business names and phone numbers have reportedly been added to the initial database. On Instant is built on the open standard SIP VoIP platform.
