Oracle tests Fiserv solutions
Fiserv Inc. business unit Customer Centered Solutions has announced the results of high-volume performance and scalability testing done in tandem with Oracle Corporation. The testing focused on the architecture of the CCS IntelligEnt suite of web-based sales force management, service management, and business process management solutions. Conducted independently at Oracle’s Enterprise Technology Center, results showed that the architecture was capable of delivering high performance levels for financial institutions of more than 10,000 users.
Fiserv CCS technicians worked with Oracle’s Product Technology Services group in carrying out the tests. IntelligEnt provides an application framework and business process management engine to deliver solutions including sales force management; contact management for use by the call centers, branches and back offices; and campaign execution for outbound telemarketing, lead generation and automating service campaigns. the IntelligEnt Suite is based upon a service-oriented architecture that provides seamless integration with existing desktops and core transaction systems in an effort to reduce integration costs and maximize the end-user’s experience.
The results made folks like CCS product and technology group vice president John Puccetti very pleased: “Not only did the Oracle 10g testing exercise validate IntelligEnt’s scalability to serve clients with more than 10,000 users, but we noted other improvements including better end-user performance and reduced system resource requirements.”
