Perficient buys CRM consulting firm

San Francisco-based Bay Street Solutions Inc. has been acquired by Austin, Texas-based Perficient Inc. The IT consulting firm will dish out some $9.3 million in cash and stocks to purchase the CRM firm in an effort to bolster its North American CRM consulting. The transaction marks the sixth such agreement for Perficient since 2004, following up the acquisitions of iPath Solutions Ltd, Vivare LP, Genisys Consulting Inc, Meritage Technologies Inc, and ZettaWorks LLC. Bay Street Solutions Inc. represents thirteen branches around North America with just over $8.5 million in revenue. Perficient hopes to further stratify its practice in the CPG, high-tech and manufacturing sectors. Perficient promises an increase in revenue from its 2005 earnings of $97 million to $120 million and the addition of fifty consultants. Over five hundred clients will join the huddle under the Perficient umbrella and the Bay Street / Perficient company will support 625 jobs.
