PreEmptive program tops sixty

PreEmptive Solutions (decent name), suppliers of “Enterprise Obfuscation Solution” for the Microsoft .NET environment and Java, announced today that the PreEmptive entrepreneur program has reached over 60 organizations in its first four months of existence.

PreEmptive is in a new niche market evolving among startup software development teams, which are using obfuscation tools to provide security for their company. PreEmptive’s entrepreneur program seeks to provide such startups with the same premier protection and control enjoyed by larger enterprise companies. PreEmptive offers program members special pricing, service and communication opportunities, webinars, newsletters and public fora.

Participants in the Entrepreneur Program include AOT GoOnline AS, a provider of CRM, newsletter and e-commerce solutions for Norwegian corporations, consumers and financial institutions; the Cleveland Clinic department of quantitative health sciences; Double Century Software, a provider of solutions for automating the manual encoding process; and various public-sector organizations.

Founded in 1996 with the launching of Dotfuscator and DashO obfuscation families, PreEmptive today has 2,500 clients, 30,000 registered installations in 100+ countries and inclusion in Microsoft’s 6,000,000+ Visual Studio seats.
