Sage subsumes Corum
The folks at Sage Software have announced the acquisition of the Corum Mobile Division of Corum Corporation. Corum is a privately-held software consulting and development company based in Concord, Ontario, Canada, specializing in mobile customer relationship management technology. The acquisition was completed through Sage Software’s Canadian subsidiary, Sage Software Canada, Ltd.
The Sage Software brass sees the acquisition as solidifying its current and future use of Corum’s mobile-access CRM technology, fully integrated with and available for Sage CRM SalesLogix. Plans call for Corum to be made available to all Sage customers, including those users of Sage CRM, SageCRM.com, and ACT! by Sage.
Corum Corporation has been developing add-on solutions for Sage CRM SalesLogix since the April 1997 launch. The Corum mobile platform supports BlackBerry, Microsoft Windows Mobile, and Palm hand-held devices using the Windows mobile operating system.
