Simply Appliance?

The folks over at Network Appliance (otherwise known as NetApp), have announced that Simply Mail Solutions has acquired advanced storage equipment from Network Appliance (NetApp) the leader in the network device storage field. And no one is more thrilled about it than the sitting SMS technical director.

The equipment is to be located within SMS’s suite at Telecity in Manchester and will provide backups of customer data from the multiple servers SMS is now running, and from the SMS CRM system. The equipment was installed December 2006 and came on-line in January.

And Keith Pritchard, SMS technical director said, “Now I can automate our back up processes and start to sleep at night!”

SMS is based in Warrington, UK and has “thousands” of customer email accounts running on its servers. Network Appliance is a provider of unified storage solutions for enterprises, and was founded in 1992.
