SmartView from Agileview Software

Boston University’s Institute for Geriatric Social Work has announced some early results of its recently undertaken SmartView implementation. IGSW need the SmartView system in order to manager the series of BU’s related online training courses that offer social workers and other social service professional’s vital training in aging and provide continuing education credits and an optional Certificate in Aging from Boston University. The SmartView Learning Management System is designed to automate delivery and tracking of all content and training.

IGSW has also announced plans to go national before fall semester 2007. hopes to serve social workers nationally with high quality, cost-effective continuing education solutions. Though demand is expected to increase exponentially in the coming years, the current staff expects to keep pace thanks to their planning, and leverage of tools such as SmartView LMS. The Institute for Geriatric Social Work mission statement reads, “The IGSW is dedicated to advancing social work practice with older adults and their families using the latest in educational design, evaluation of training effectiveness, and policy-relevant research.”

Under the auspices of the Boston University School of Social Work, IGSW has trained more than 20,000 social workers and social service professionals in the past four years. Agileview Software, Inc. is the service-oriented developer of the SmartView Learning Management System, CRM and other online management tools.
