The year is over for Equa Terra
Claiming it to be “one of the world’s largest ever Human Resources outsourcing contracts,” EquaTerra announced the completion of a contract following twelve months of advisory work by the multi-national outsourcing and insourcing advisors. Consumer goods company Unilever has awarded a seven-year contract to provide human resources and learning services to management and technology outsourcing firm Accenture.
EquaTerra had originally been hired by Unilever in January 2005 to advise on sourcing strategies. This role evolved into one which involved expansion of the EquaTerra role into advising Unilever on outsourcing in human resources, finance and accounting, and procurement. EquaTerra Europe HR practice lead Tim Palmer threw down the gauntlet by proclaiming that “A deal on this scale is truly market making – it has many elements that push the boundaries of our industry.”
EquaTerra is focused on providing global enterprises with outsourcing and insourcing advisory, research and governance services. EquaTerra’s has over 150 advisors with a reported average of over twenty years’ experience in industry, service providing and processing. EquaTerra can claim more than seven hundred projects completed.
