UK financials happy about CRM
The United Kingdom’s financial services CRM users are happy! Well, a good 62 percent of ‘em at least…
According to a survey of UK CRM users commissioned by CDC Software, the financial services sector is leading best practices when it comes to client management. In fact the 62 percent satisfaction ratio makes the financial services sector a “clear leader in the implementation and utilisation of CRM within their business.” Next highest was the legal sector, with just 32 percent positive.
Why the discrepancy? Well, one CDC Software managing director, Mark Carlile, wasn’t too surprised, explaining that “Often our financial services customers are the first to implement new CRM technologies and systems.” As Carlile sees it, the competitive nature of the sector requires financial services companies to “fully harness the power of effective client management … to ultimately ensure they maximise the profitability and longer term value to the business of their clients.”
Carlile went on to opine that other UK industry sectors could learn from UK financial services to get the most out of their CRM systems.
